iPhone 4S is Already Sold Out?

With the iPhone 4S being just 12 hours old on the preordering day, it seems they have sold out of its initial allotment of the product.  Shipments are now expect to come in one to two weeks rather than arriving on October 14th.

With AT&T receiving more than 200,000 pre-orders of the iPhone 4S, I’d say it was pretty darn successful.  The following quote is from AT&T:

It’s obvious customers like AT&T’s 4G network, which is the only one that lets their iPhone download twice as fast and talk and surf simultaneously

As much as I love AT&T, they seem to be a bit stuck up and cocky.  Just to clarify, the iPhone 4S isn’t a 4G phone.  Apple claims that the speeds are as fast as 4G but it isn’t truly 4G.  With that being said, the iPhone 4S is not a 4G LTE-capable device.

The iPhone 4S was also available on Verizon and Sprint.  At this point in time, our resources haven’t heard any of their first-day sales numbers.
