Time Freeze

Before I start, I would like to point out that there is only one of me. For the first effect, I simply added an image of a muzzle flash that I found on Google Images. Just search for "Muzzle Flare." Then I added a luma key to the flare and added an edge feather. After that, I made sure that the flare only went for 1 frame. Something to add is that the flare will only look really good if you are editing in 30 FPS. You can change this in After Effects by looking at your compostition settings.

For the freeze, I simply took a freezeframe of the clip that I wanted to stay frozen, overlayed it with the "timeout" clip, and masked the freezeframe into the "timeout" clip. I did the same for when I shot myself in the head, accept I needed to get timing perfect.

Overall editing time: 5 hours

Excuse me, but I'm pretty sure that this is relavent. It is a great source for people learning how to make special effects videos, if you'll notice, I posted how I did the effects in the description. Plus, the owner of this site has given me permission before to post videos like this before. If you have a problem with it take it up with him. DavidDiFranco@gmail.com

There is nothing wrong with this. Cameron Sun does the same thing.
