Verizon 4G LTE MiFi Available Online, in Stores 4/21

Today was a great day in the Verizon world. Verizon Wireless announced its first 4G LTE hostpot device. The device is already available online and will be available in stores on 4/21. The Verizon MiFi 4510L 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot is selling for $99.99 after a $50 mail in rebate and two-year 4G mobile broadband agreement. If you don't have this, it will be costing you around $270. Contracts start at $50 per month for 5GB of data.

If you are planning to use this device as a dedicated home internet server, think again. It's just not as powerful as you may think. On top of that, you won't get the "true" 4G experience unless you are in an area in which 4G LTE is available. There still aren't many locations where this is outstanding.

With more Smartphones building this feature into their device, do you think having a separate hotspot stand a chance in today's consumer market? Many cellular devices can do exactly what this device is doing and that's also saving you money on your monthly bill. http://techjohnson.com
