Apple Becoming More Social?

Today the online Apple Store was down for some time. Rumors spread of all kinds but none predicted this. Apple has added Facebook and Twitter buttons to their online store, so shoppers can share the product on whatever social network they are using.

For the time being, only Twitter and Facebook are supported. But then again, who isn't on Twitter or Facebook? I wouldn't count on seeing any G+ features anytime soon, but never say never.

This is showing that Apple is becoming more in contact with the outside world, as opposed to their shroud of secrecy that is known worldwide.

Will you use these buttons? Or do you think it's just a gimmick?

Google+, Twitter, and Facebook are already on bestbuy.com, but I agree. I don't think +1 will be on the Apple Online Store.
