Verizon Offering $100 to Smartphone Upgraders

Verizon Wireless always has something up their sleeve that we never know about until the last second.  Verizon is now offering people $100 to phone owners to upgrade their current phone to s Smartphone.  If you don’t do this, you are crazy.  I would do it and put the money towards the upgrade.  Your new iPhone on Verizon would be so much cheap!

Brenda Raney, spokeswoman for Verizon has said that customers with a basic phone who are eligible to upgrade between now and the end of the year can currently upgrade to a smartphone.  Such customers have until September 30 to make the switch.

The only downfall with receiving the $100 is you can only use this money in a Verizon Wireless store.  You are able to use this $100 for anything in a Verizon store, including paying off a bill.  This could be helpful for people who have fallen a bit behind.

With Verizon offering such a deal, now would be a great time to purchase a Smartphone if you aren’t already on one.  If you are planning to get the iPhone, I would still wait until the next release is pushed out.  According to many resources, the new generation iPhone will be launched in October.  Verizon is trying to step up their game and this makes a lot of customers happy!

Will you be getting a smartphone if you have a “normal” phone through Verizon?  Leave your thoughts in the comment section.
