TechJohnson 3.0

2012 has finally came and it's making me feel motivated to take my online services and website to the next level.  I have been working long and hard to come up with some solutions that I wish to accomplish in the year 2012 in terms of my online work and marketing.  Thus brings me to announce TechJohnson 3.0.

The first thing that you will probably notice is the new logo and banner artwork.  This artwork was inspired so it has a more eye catching look rather then it just being a bit bland when people visit.  All it takes for some people to stay or go is their banner/logo.  I felt it was important to have a proper logo to brand the site and my online services.  The logo is a customized T inside of a circle.  I have always been a fan of red so I decided to go with red as the logos primary color.

With the new logo and banner out of the way, I had to incorporate the new logo with the favicon.  Now when you clear all your cookies and catch, you will notice that my favicon changes to my new logo to help brand TechJohnson a bit more.

I'm trying to make the year 2012 be very successful so I can support my family which includes a new born.  Thus brings me to my biggest goals of 2012 which is making money.  I'm going to put a lot of emphasis on trying to make as much revenue as I possible can to provide for myself and my family.  Trying to make money online isn't an easy task to accomplish so I'm going to put a lot of work into my marketing plans.

First you will notice the sidebar has a bunch more eye catching objects.  This was purposeful to help push some of my online services and content.  You will notice I'm putting a lot of emphasis on getting my Twitter eBook sold.  I explain in the small sidebar design that it's cheaper then a cup of coffee to hopefully draw in more people.

My main goal for making money online this year is going to be my designing services.  I'm doing my best to push out my brand to the world to get clients.  I do Web design, Video editing, Graphic design and even photography.  Hopefully the small "Request Design Services" in the sidebar will help me to gain more clients for work.

A few more added bonuses to the site is an upgrade Twitter Sidebar widget which is more eye catching and more pleasing to look at.  It dawned on me that my previous Twitter widget was very bland and didn't draw your attention to it.  In fact, it took the focus away and I want my Social Media content to really pop to the online community.

Since Social Media is also high on the list for 2012, I've incorporated the Google Plus button into the website.  Now you have the apple to "+1" an article and even the website.  With Google Plus on the rise, this is something that I had to push out.  I've been meaning to do so for awhile now and 2012 seemed to be the perfect time to do so.

The last few things that aren't very noticeable are the advertising prices and my live broadcasting page.  I have dropped the advertising prices down to an affordable rate which competes with many other websites for advertising.  You have the option to advertise a 125x125 advertisement or a 160x600 advertisement.  Keep in mind that the skyscraper 160x600 advertisement is on a first come first serve basic.  You will be required to pay monthly for each advertisement or get discounted prices if you buy in bungles.  If you wish to be a sponsor of TechJohnson, please check out the Advertising Page and then Contact Me with what you want.

If you are a long time follower of my online life, you will remember that I use to stream pretty regularly and sometimes even 24/7.  I actually have been getting a lot of request to start of the live broadcasts again.  I'm going to make more of an effort to stream more often now.  If you would like to know when I go live, follow my Twitter.
