How you get your website noticed

Hello all! This is mainly a quick question and less of a blog entry. I was wanting to share my top three favourite ideas for getting your own website noticed and increase traffic but if you have any other ways then please leave some comments or email me!

Firstly and most obvious; Google Ad words! Google Ad words is a great little program that leave your website link and a few little words describing it on the right hand side of peoples search engines when the results are relevant to your site. It does cost and at times is can become expensive but why not? Its a great little program for everyone trying to get a new website off the ground.

Secondly there are always friends with websites! Do you have someone in your life with a fully functional website that’s happy to rent (or even give away) a free ad space for you? Its a great way to steel their visitors and a great way to work together! Partner up with friends or family and share visitors, try to have content different on both sites and keep everything simple and appealing.

Then there is the easiest way; posters! Have a download link on your site for fans to download posters that show your sites strong points. Easy! Have them in bright colours and try to have a globally used format like .jpg or a .pdf people can download them, print them and hang them up around where they live! I do this with my website.

Just a little blog helping you out with your site! Enjoy and leave feedback and if ever you need to contact me, do it through http://minionsofsarcasm.com Have a surf, tell me what you think!
