Our Android spy has taken to the market and dug in deep to find our readers the top to-go phones if you’re love affair with Apple’s iPhone has come to a close.

Samsung Galaxy Note

It’s gargantuan, and connects immediately with the smart phone buff’s heart – like one’s long time pet. Recently it has gotten Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich meaning that Jelly Bean would have to lie in the wait for the time being. However, it has distinct software, which together with S Pen aids the cell phone user in ‘Draw Something’. It has a strong 2,500 mAh battery as well, a huge 5.3-inch screen (with HD Super AMOLED), 1280 x 800 pixels of resolution that ensures gaming becomes a festival, an eight-megapixel camera, a magnificent1.5GHz processor and it also has 4G LTE network support; plus, it offers16GB storage capacity, which also has the possibility of expansion with a microSD card.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus

The first phone that had the 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich, and would also be the first to have 4.1 Jelly Bean – do you really need anything else? At $149.99 it has affordability; it also has a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 4.65 inches of display (HD Super AMOLED), RAM of 1GB and seriously majestic five megapixel camera. If you crave the latest OS, this baby is all you need.

Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX

HTC One X

It is the only phone on the list that could stand toe to toe with the topper of the list, considering the fact that the two have quite similar features. It has availability both on Sprint and AT&T and has a picturesque design. It also has a sharp 4.7-inch display that has an HD resolution as well, a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 4G LTE support, an eight-megapixel camera and a massive storage capacity of 16GBs. Without a shadow of a doubt it gives both the Samsung Galaxy and iPhone 5 a run for their money.

Samsung Galaxy S III

Its biggest selling point is that it functions on scores of global carriers and the fact that it has awesome hardware specs. It has a quality processor – the Snapdragon S4, 4.8 inches of glorious display (Super AMOLED HD), a staggering eight megapixel camera, the 16 or 32 GB storage option that can be expanded through the microSD card, a stalwart 2100mAh battery and 4G LTE support – Galaxy SIII is iPhone 5’s biggest challenger, and some would argue that it tops the Apple device.
