Review: Joby GorillaPod Hybrid

In this video, I give you guys my review of the Joby GorillaPod hybrid. Before I get stared, I want to thank Joby for sponsoring this product for review. Without them, this video wouldn't be possible.

After the time I've had with this tripod, I have to say that it's a great product. The build quality of the arms and camera mount is great. This is important because this is a tripod that's meant to be taken on the go. I feel that this can handle some rough days in a bag without any trouble at all. The product has an overall nice appearance, and can easily hold a wide variety of camcorders and cameras. The top of the tripod is free-moving, which let's you achieve a 90° shot with your camera! This is perfect for that portrait shot with a point-and-shoot camera. The tripod also features a level, which ensures that you get a nice and level shot.

While I don't have any direct cons to this product, it's worth mentioning that it's not for everyone. If you just need a tripod for YouTube videos or to record some things around the house, then this tripod won't satisfy that need very well. However, if you like to take your camera with you biking or while on a hike in the woods, this tripod may quickly become your best friend. The tripod's flexible arms allow you to get fantastic shots that simply wouldn't be possible with a generic tripod or with your hands.

Overall, this tripod is a great product. I can easily see this tripod being on the wish list of anyone that's into photography, especially when taking your camera outdoors. This product can be found here for just under $40. Be sure to check me out on YouTube and to follow me on Twitter for a variety of tech content.
