Does the new iPad tell us about the next iPhone?

With the 3rd Generation iPad (The New iPad) getting a pretty good overhaul of new specks, this makes me wonder what’s in store for the next generation iPhone. The physical aspect of the new iPad didn’t change much, if at all. Some amazing things worth mention are the Retina Display, A5X Processor, and LTE. With a higher processor and better mobile technology in the iPad over the iPhone, what’s next for the iPhone?

I have compiled a list of what we might expect to see on the (new) iPhone if we follow the trending list of the new iPad.

Display

With the iPad receiving an all new Retina Display, it makes me wonder if the next iPhone will include an ever better screen resolution. The iPhone 4S already has the leading screen resolutions for a smartphone, do you think it could get better? Sure, the new resolution is HUGE on the iPad, but how great would it be to get an even better resolution on the iPhone.

Processor

Can you believe the new iPad has been rolled out with a better processor than Apple’s iPhone? In terms of better, I mean in a graphics standpoint. I really see Apple implementing a better processor to handle better graphics. Can we expect to see the iPhone with the all new A5X Processor like the iPad?

LTE

What’s LTE? To keep it short, we will go with 4G! The all new iPad has received a huge update with receiving 4G capabilities. This caught everyone off guard, including myself. With the iPad getting such an amazing update, I really see a high likelihood of Apple making the new iPhone LTE compatible. You may have noticed AT&T getting 4G with the new iOS 5.1 update, but is it “true” 4G?

Although this list isn’t a huge list, it’s something to keep in mind when the iPhone is getting announced. As we all know, Apple strives at being the best they can be. With the new iPad just being released with better specs than the iPhone, what can we expect when the new iPhone arrives? Let us know in the comment section.
