My Setup: Taking Notes with My iPad
Since I got my iPad last Friday, I've been using it daily at school for taking notes. I decided to make a video discussing my setup becuase of how pleased I've been using the iPad instead of using a standard, paper notebook.
While the iPad's virtual keyboard is very easy to type on, I decided that a physical keyboard would be even better. Since I already use the bluetooth Apple keyboard, it was as simple as pairing it in the settings on the iPad and taking it to class with me. I also found a great app for taking notes called Notability. This app combines the ease of typing with writing features such as highlighting and drawing.
After about a week of taking notes on the iPad, I don't see myself switching back anytime soon. Taking notes on the iPad offers me very neat, typed notes, as well as free hand drawings and graphs. I would definitely recommend taking notes on the iPad. The iPad has also been a laptop replacement for me. This may not be the case for everyone, but I no longer find myself wanting to purchase a MacBook.
What do you think about taking notes on the iPad? Could it be a notebook replacement for you? Be sure to let me know on Twitter and YouTube.
