Google Drive - Into the Cloud!

If like me you transfer files on a daily basis this can be very time consuming.  There are a number of issues which quickly arise when you do this on a regular basis.  Do you carry round a USB stick or HDD which can get lost or damaged? Do you email yourself every important document and use your inbox as a filing system?

Cloud based services can be a really good way of getting around these problems and personally I have found drop box very useful, particularly with the web interface.

Google Drive is now a new player on the scene with a 5GB file space for no charge.

My initial first impressions feel very favourable towards it.  The installation onto my MacBook was simple and transfer speeds seemed very quick.  The main test will be tomorrow when I download my test documents at work.

The cloud is definitly the way forward and I believe that Google may have hit upon a winning formula here.
