Sniff and Mark Video Review: iPhone Game for Dog Lovers

At first glance, you are probably going to think this is an extremely odd concept for an app. It allows you to place on a map all of the places your dog marks their territory while on walks. Just bring up the app, it accessed your GPS and you can tap the places along the way where he or she do their business.  While doing this, see where other dogs with owners using the app have marked their own, and match up their 'adventures.

Weird? A little. But in essence, this is just a social way of showing where you and your dog walk for the benefit of other owners in the area. You can interact with people in your neighborhood playing the same game, and watch while your distance expands. This promotes exploration of your local surroundings, community between dog owners, and it just an interesting game you wouldn't normally expect to play.

What Users Are Saying

Every review I have seen of this app has been positive. People say it is fun, creative and a great way to meet other dog owners. I started using it myself out of curiosity, and I even found some people in my neighborhood who go out at the same time as I do now so we can walk our furry friends together.

It is also fun in how it allows you to customize your digital dog. You can make one to perfectly match your own, and watch as it walks along the map while you go. While it might not be very practical, it is a lot of fun.
