Glass Tower World Review (Google Play)

While browsing the Google Play sore I came across this game called Glass Tower World. At first glance it looked like a pretty straightforward and interesting game. With a bright and colorful background and a simple concept this game was proving to be more interesting by the minutes. However, you should never judge a book by its cover, and this is a good example of why that is a true statement. So let’s dive into the world of Glass Tower World and take a look at why this games cover shouldn’t be taken judged for the better, but for the worst.

The games concept is pretty simple. All you have to do is destroy all of the blue glass blocks off the screen to win the level. If you touch the red blocks you either loose some health which lowers your rating, or you die. Dying wouldn’t seem like a bad thing right? All you would have to do is select start and be back in the game again, right? Wrong. This game has this way of self-promoting how bad you are at this game. If you die one time you have to wait 45 seconds before you can go back to playing the game again. If you die a second time you have to wait 4 minutes. They do offer a way of purchasing “Lives” however I find that to be the most useless thing about this entire game.

However the feel for the game is pretty nice. I downloaded this game on Christmas day so there was a winter theme throughout the entire game. Nice theme aside, there really isn’t anything really good to say about this game other than it can be a fun way to kill and apparently waste time.
