ColorBlast Lite: a Free Photo Re-Color App for iPhone

There are plenty of photo apps out there that let you manipulate and recolor images. I have found a couple of good ones, but most seem to be pretty lackluster. The filters are nothing write home about, and I am especially unimpressed with those that let you create black and white images with bits of color. Just because it doesn't evenly distribute it, and often it throws off the original color as well, making it look dull.

ColorBlast works a lot better in this regard. It is specially made to let you create black and white, tinted or sepia tone photos. Then intensify the color of a specific object, or make it a different color if you choose.

How It Works

This app works by letting you select a part of the image without having to slowly recolor it. Which anyone will tell you is the most frustrating task in the world. You don't even have to zoom in to get the edges, because the app will get them for you.

You do have other tools if you want to color it in yourself, which can be selected from the tool menu. Then you adjust the hue, filters and other elements to make it the way you want it. It is very simple to use, and the Lite version is free.
