[Review] T8 Storm iPhone 4/4S Case

I'm not the hugest of fans when it comes to iPhone cases, sometimes I just stick to one for a long time or none at all, but this case really caught my eye when giving it a try.

The case, courtesy of T8, is a hard-shell style case with two credit card sized slots on the back, with the case being made of a soft-touch hard plastic casing with a tan leather outing. The case also has red meshed fabric inlays for the pockets and a loop at the top where you can connect the Zephyr Lanyard, which we shall come back to soon.

After a few days of use, I found the case to be quite handy for what it is. The ports are nicely exposed, allowing very easy access to the side controls and the bottom dock connector, however there is no real lip on the front to offer any 'on-table' protection to your iPhone, this did kind of put me off the case initially, but I got used to just not slamming my phone down like I normally do.

When out & about, I tend to be using my phone a lot, be it finding out some information about where I am, finding some deals or even just finding out the local times for the public transport, I did get questioned a couple of times by people I know about the case, and responses upon showing them more indepth were quite positive. It was a real pleasure using the case when out & about, and found it to be quite useful with the two card slots on the back, meaing I could keep two cards on the case and my wallet firmly tucked away inside my jacket, away from possibly prying hands.

Onto the Lanyard, T8 were kind enough to send not just the case over for review, but also the Lanyard that accompanies the case, the Zephyr. I can't say I really made use of the lanyard, apart from when I went on a Photo walk. The lanyard did prove useful and quite comfortable round my neck, however I did feel a bit unsafe yielding such an expensive phone from my neck like that, but I blame that down to personal preference.

So who is this case designed for? I would say mostly the case is aimed at the 'on the go' type person, who is looking for a Stylish yet functional case that can hold cards which are important to their everyday life, such as a travel card and/or payment card.

Overall I would rate the case an 8/10, this being based on the usability of the case and the style.

Pros: Stylish, Form fitting, Sleek appearance, Functional

Cons: Card slots can be tight, No 'lay on table' protection for front screen, Removing the case can be a hassle.
