[Review] Speck CandyShell Grip for Nokia Lumia 1020

Speck are known in the industry for creating first class Cases for Mobile Phones and Laptops alike. Here we got the opportunity to test out the GRIP series on the Nokia Lumia 1020.

The case comes in a simple yet stylish package which can be easily opened by a tab on the back. Once you have the product out, just slip the phone into the case and that's literally it.

The phone's fitting was perfect in my eyes, it held the phone securely and even gave up a fight getting the phone out, this tells me that the case is built to last and could easily take a bit of abuse. The style of the case really appeals to me personally, with its grippy texture around the back, and large circular cut out for the 1020's camera housing.

I do have a couple of gripes with this case however, the buttons don't feel as tactile as I'd like them to be. The case's rubber insides seem to also sweat the device, causing heat issues with the phone. This can be acheived over a moderate use without using the camera.

You can purchse the Speck Candyshell Grip for £24.99 in White & Yellow. You can also find more Nokia Lumia 1020 Cases at Mobilefun.co.uk.

[Review] Avantree 'Pluto Air' Hybrid Bluetooth Speaker

I have always been impressed by these little Bluetooth speakers, and the Pluto Air from Avantree is no exception.

I must thank Avantree for sending this out for review.

When you receive the product you are greeted to this small, not so powerful looking speaker sitting in the box along with instructions, a 3.5mm audio cable, USB charging cable and a carrying pouch, the device to me didn't seem like much of a product. I instantly got it out and paired it up to my smartphone and my mind was changed. The music quality is a lot better than I had originally expected. There isn't much in terms of bass, but that is expected from such a small unit. The pairing was smooth and quick, and I managed to get the device to pair with my Mac and my phone effortlessly. I would say you get more quality through the 3.5mm cable, which may not be gold-plated, it still carries good quality.

[Review] Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 G3

I have never really found USB Sticks to be useful in my every-day life. I used to just use an SD card to store files on when going computer to computer, which sometimes ended up being awkward when the other computers didn't have an SD slot which was easily accessable. I decided to give the Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate a try, to see how it would impact on my day-to-day tasks.

I must thank Kingston Technology for sending this product over for review.

[Review] Case-Mate Barely There for Sony Xperia Z

I have always been a good supporter of the Case-Mate line-up, and to see they had released a case for the Sony Xperia Z excited me deep down. I must thank Case-Mate for sending this product out for review.

Upon opening the box, you are instantly greeted with the case. There isn't anything else in the box, however I did find the metal top to the box a nice touch, adds some strength to the packaging. Fitting the case to my phone was simple, snapping the case around the longer sides of the phone, and the case has a firm but sleek look when on the phone.

[Review] Square Jellyfish EarPod Case

when I first found out about Square Jellyfish I was quite shocked, I thought the name was funny and the company would be your average case manufacturer, how I was wrong.

I was sent the EarPod Case for reviewing purposes, and it was an absolute pleasure to use it. When you receive the box you are welcomed to the bold blue & white colours, and upon opening the box you are immediately welcomed to the product. Also in the box was a micro-fibre cleaning cloth and a small user guide.
