[Review] Square Jellyfish EarPod Case

when I first found out about Square Jellyfish I was quite shocked, I thought the name was funny and the company would be your average case manufacturer, how I was wrong.

I was sent the EarPod Case for reviewing purposes, and it was an absolute pleasure to use it. When you receive the box you are welcomed to the bold blue & white colours, and upon opening the box you are immediately welcomed to the product. Also in the box was a micro-fibre cleaning cloth and a small user guide.

The product has two purposes, the main purpose being a way of storing and keeping your Apple EarPods clean and tidy, in a knot-free environment. The other purpose involves the black parts of the case. This case can actually be used as a stand for your device. I rested my Sony Xperia Z on this device with my EarPods in the back, and it stood perfectly, holding the phone in place with ease.

I did notice a little bit of give when standing the phone in portrait orientation, however this is likely because the phone is quite big and hefty on a small stand.

I did test this case when out and about, main uses being on a train and when sitting at a park bench. On the train the stability was perfect, holding my Xperia Z up perfectly. On the park bench it did have a little issue with stability, however I put this down to the wind and not the device.

I did accidentally drop the case when out & about with my EarPods in from around 4 feet high. The case did not receive and scuffs or damages, and protected the EarPods perfectly.

Overall I would give the Square Jellyfish EarPod Case a solid 8/10. I think it would be nice if they made it two-tone coloured, allowing for a more vbrant feel to the case instead of a solid colour.

You can find more information on the EarPod Case by visiting Square Jellyfish's Website.
