What's on my iPod touch v1

In today's post I'm covering three great iOS applications. The applications are Go Daddy, Google Translate and Infinity Blade These applications are all unique and serve different purposes.

The first is GoDaddy. I'm a huge fan of Go Daddy and their services. I mostly use their services for buying domains for projects. But, there could be that one moment in the future, where I'm out and about and buy a domain. Now I can with GoDaddy's iOS application.

Next I'd like to talk briefly about Google Translate. You can translate almost any language you can think of. In the video above, I demonstrated English to Spanish. This could come in handy when you travel internationally.

The last application is Infinity Blade. This is a very popular game. It's a sword fighting game. The game is also well known for it's graphics. It's about $3.00 in the App Store. It's well worth it.

What's on my iPad v1

The App Store has recently passed the 10 billion download milestone. To me that's a very great achievement. But a few people still might be wondering what are some good apps for my iPad. Well in this video, that's exactly what I will show. The applications in this post are applications I use on my iPad daily. Hopefully you will find a few good applications for your iPad. But, you could also get in on this by leaving recommendations in the comments for applications I should get. Hope you enjoyed my post.

Is iOS Saving Video Games?

Remember those days when you just couldn't beat your video games? Struggling for hours and hours to get past that one level, or boss? Games like Pac-man or Space Invaders that became impossibly difficult for ''casual'' gamers?

Well, if you have played games more recently you may have noticed that there is next to no challenge and somebody with very little experience will glide through the entire game in a day or two only to feel you have wasted your money and haven't got as much enjoyment from game you first expected!

However, Have a quick browse through the app store and you will be treated to a vast amount of games that will not only challenge your gaming ability, but will hold your interest for long enough to complete them (as we all hate having that game hanging around we just cannot beat!). For example: Angry Birds, a favourite to everyone and their grandmother! It has a strategic (and luck) style of game-play with a ''castle smasher'' genre.

Or maybe Plants vs Zombies (a personal favourite of mine) which is almost like the old playground game "british bulldog" but offers hours of fun and strategic game-play.

All in all I believe that iOS and the app store is pretty much saving and making up the much needed gaps for the game industry as a whole, offering a lot more bang for your buck than many full priced console games (lacking some aspects obviously).

Feel free to comment your opinion on the subject or put forward some of your favourite downloadable games, for iOS or other service.

Mac App Store Demo

The Mac App store was released January 6, 2011 and was made available to all Snow Leopard users. So, you'll need to get Snow Leopard to have the Mac App Store. The Mac App Store is a lot like the one you'll find on an iPad or iPod touch, but you will find actual Desktop Applications, not just games. I believe the Mac App store will be the way Apple distributes their iWork and iLife updates from now on. The Mac App store is hooked up with your iTunes account, so you won't have to go to a developer's website and pull out a credit card to pay for it. I think the Mac App store is great and it has a lot of potential!

Doodle Jump Review

Hello everyone. Today I'm presenting to you my review of the application called Doodle Jump. It's available for $0.99 for the iPhone and iPod touch. You can also purchase the application for the same price for you're Android device! The physics for this game are really impressive. I really like the concept of jumping from point A to point B. Out of 5 I gave the game a solid 4.5. The game is very addictive and it's a game that kills time while you're waiting on something or just have nothing to do. I have played over 500 games of Doodle Jump!
