How to Convert Video for Free

Video conversion is one of those things that people constantly search and search for, but just can't get the best application. The Miro Video Convertor is really, what I think to be, the best app to do just that. Miro has just a simple UI that allows you to drop in a file and convert it to a variety of formats. You can convert video to specifically work with your device whether it be Android or Apple or just a video format. The app, however, is somewhat slow and only can do single video conversions at a time, but it works and is free!

You can download Miro Video Convertor (MVC) from the Mac App Store.

iWork vs. Microsoft Office for Mac

Which word processor do you prefer for your Mac: iWork vs. Microsoft Office?

Opinion by Iglio

I prefer Microsoft Word.  To put it simply for conveniance use microsoft word, in no way are you ever going to be able to use Keynote unless your at a company/university that is all Mac, hence powerpoint is the way to go, in addition everyone else has it.  Enoutourage dominates Apple Mail in terms of usability.  It can sync with the iPhone and its not as glitchy as Apple Mail which crapped out on me.

Also it prevents the user from having to have open iCal, Adress Book, and Mail because Entourage does ALL of that very smoothley.  Word is simply the dominate word processor.  It has seniority over Pages and when it comes down to work flow the user will be more pleased with Word.  I have both and I have really given Pages a shot but I find myself always switching back to Word.  MSN messenger they kinda just throw in there, its free anyways online so idk.  It nice for out of US users, (the rest of the world uses MSN not AIM).
