Grow Your Profile Overnight... for Free?

Logo

There are tons of Twitter tools being sold on the internet promising to up your follower count and basically, grow your Twitter on autopilot but let's face it: Why risk an investment on something that might not work? Personally, that is a non-issue. It's the fact that I'm cheap when it comes to ecommerce. But I finally found a tool that actually does what it says it does.

Twiend is an online network of Twitter, Facebook and Youtube accounts where users exchange follows, likes and views. It's incredible and frankly, genius! Users begin with 15 "seeds" which is the currency for getting follows, views or likes depending on how you choose to spend them. You can get more seeds by either buying them or by following twitter users, viewing videos or liking pages.

Skeptics probably want some proof of concept. I have stats proving that my twitter account went from just 262 follows to over 360 in one night of using this site and I only used the site for about a half an hour.

Stats

So what are you waiting for? Get started using your social networking account or by creating one on Twiends!

How to Make Calls on Your iPod touch or iPad for Free

Many people may not know this, but if you have an iPod Touch or iPad, a pair of headphones with a microphone, and a wi-fi signal you can make calls to any phone number in the U.S for free! This all happens with an app called iCall, which is available in the app store. There are similar apps like iCall that are available, but I've honestly never tried them. For a free app, iCall works very well and can make a great backup source in case of your phone dying or breaking. Here's how to set up iCall in 6 simple steps:

1. Open up the App Store and search "icall". The first result, which is technically called "iCall Free VoIP" should appear. Then proceed to download the app.

2. Open up iCall. It may take a few seconds to load and find the server. Once iCall loads you will be presented with a terms of use page. Touch the "I agree" button.

3. The next page you will be brought to is a "Choose your account type" page. There is a paid version of iCall, but if you want the free version, touch the "Free Calling" button.

4. Now you will be asked to put in your contact information. Do so, then touch the continue button.

5. The next page you will be brought to is the "Phone Verification" page. Touch the "Place verification call" button. A prompt will pop up saying that you will have to dial a U.S phone number. Touch the ok button.

6. A new prompt will appear saying to dial a specific number on your cell phone. Once you call the number, it should hang up right away. Then press the ok button and you should be greeted with the last prompt telling you that you have successfully activated your iCall account. You will then be taken back to the dialer page where you can start making calls!

I hope this tutorial helps. Some side notes to consider are that in the beginning of your call, you are presented with a 10-15 second add. This can be a pain but it is still worth the free calling. Another note is that you have a 4 minute limit for calls. Again this is a real downside but it shouldn't be a deal breaker.

Top 5 Free iPod touch/iPhone Games

At the moment I have about 15 free games on my iPod touch. After playing them all for about two weeks, I will share with you my top 5 favorite free games for the iPhone/iPod touch

1. Backbreaker
Backbreaker is a football game with an arcade style. You use simple controls in the bottom corners of your screen to dodge opponents until you can score a touchdown. You get points for juking, spinning, and showboating when you near the end zone. I am currently addicted to this game and cannot put it down. I highly recommend downloading this game if you are into sports, or if you are just looking for a good game.

2. MazeFinger
Mazefinger is a simple maze game which is connected via the plus+ network. You use your fingers to move a ball through different mazes, and it gets harder as you go on. You are timed so you need to move quickly. You are given a rank after each maze you complete, the ranks you can get include: Awesome, Great, Good, Okay, and Weak. You are also given an overall rank after each level.

3. PapiJump
Simple, yet probably one of the funnest games out there. PapiJump lets you climb to the top with a small ball. You move the device from side to side in order to get the ball to move. Just don't let the ball fall. If you complete this, you will love PapiJump.

4. Paper Toss
Paper toss is exactly what the title says, you toss papers. You can choose different locations to do this, and all  you have to do is simply use your finger to throw the paper in one direction, and land it in the trash can. But there is a catch, a fan will be blowing your paper from one side of the room to the other. So you must adjust where you toss the paper to in order to get it in the can.

5. FallDown!
FallDown! is a simple game just like PapiJump, except it is in reverse order. You are trying to get the ball from the top to the bottom as fast as you can. You just lean the device side to side and try to get the ball to fall through the holes. But don't get too far behind, or it will be game over.

As always feel free to leave suggestions and comments for next time. And let me know your favorite iPhone/iPod Touch games. You can check me out on Twitter by clicking
