UK pricing for the iPad

I'm starting to get slightly annoyed with Apple. I love there products, don't get me wrong, but any info regarding the iPad outside of the US has been scarce.

First, they said the iPad's going to ship at the same time, inside and outside of the US. Now we have to wait for a month, according to apples website. But the more aggravating factor is lack of a price tag internationally.

Rumour has it that in the UK Apple are just going to do swapsies with the dollar and pound sign. This would really get my goat, as according to online converters the price should be around £330. Just swapping the dollar and pound sign would be like a bullet in the head for apples international sales. Other rumour sites speculate a price around £400. This is still high, but better no doubt. 

Please Steve, show a bit of love towards your European brothers and give us a decent, competitive price!
