More reasons to hate the iPhone

I personally have the iPhone and I love it! Great iPod interface, the UI is remarkable, the browser is the best in the biz, etc. Now there is one downside to having all these features, and that is the battery life. Now, give it credit, when you run push email , push twitter accounts, and surf the web, granted you'll have some significant battery lose. The iPhone has been relatively good at managing the battery life of the phone, but is still not up to par. Now in the last Apple event called "It's time for Rock and Roll...but we like it" Apple announced the new Apple OS 3.1 which gave some decent updates and some good additions. Weeks later, Apple is getting countless calls from owners saying they had "remarkable battery lose", now take into account the iPhone battery was already poor. I personally haven't seen much of a change in the battery life, but it is definitely something they need to fix in the future.

303,000 Texts A Month!

When you say the word texting, almost everybody knows what you're talking about... even if they do not text. Now, with you reading this on David's tech-centric website, it is safe to assume that the most, if not all of us, text on a regular basis.

Personally, I think text messaging is a great way to stay in touch, so I text pretty often... but truth be told, I don't have many people text so I wouldn't say I was a heavy texter. I guess the next question would be; What do I consider to be heavy texting? And in all honesty, I would say 2,000 - 4,000 a month. Mind you, that is not a small number, which brings me to the heart of this post.

I received a twitter post (thanks to adablasi) which linked me to a CNN story about a girl, who somehow managed to rack up 303,000 text in a single month. According to CNN, that is 7 text messages per minute.  Which begs the question: How in the world did she manage that?

Of course, the girl was using an iPhone

New MacBook Pro 17-inch delayed for two weeks

Engadget has reported that the new 17-inch MacBook Pro has been delayed for two weeks (February 19th.) Apple has been sending emails to all customers who pre-ordered the new laptop saying: "wrapping up the new 17-inch MacBook Pro is taking a few days longer than we projected." Apple didn't give a reason why there delaying there new product, but I believe it has something to do with the new 8 hour built-in battery that is in the new MacBook Pro.

What ever it is I hope Apple fixes it as soon as possible.

Also, If any other news about this dilemma occurs I will report it immediately.
