How to Tweet Using Siri on the iPhone 4S

Siri is one of the best features of the iPhone 4S but its main drawback is its lack of third party application support. Luckily, a new workaround allows you to Tweet from the iPhone 4S using Siri. In order to do this you must:

1. Create a contact named "Twitter"

2. Make the contact phone number 40404

3. Open Siri and say "send text to Twitter"....and then your tweet

PleaseRobMe.com alerts the world when you are not at home

Do you like to play Foursquare? For those that do not know, Foursquare is an iPhone or Blackberry game that allows users to "check-in" at venues and then tweets what venue you are at to Twitter. Sounds like a harmless, fun game right? Well it was, until someone created a site called PleaseRobMe.com.

PleaseRobMe.com is a site that pulls Foursquare's check-ins, and tells the world who is not at home. It also labels that user as a new "opportunity" to rob them. Foursquare still sounding fun to you? I didn't think so.

It is not Foursquare's fault that PleaseRobMe.com is using their API. It does, however, make you feel uneasy about playing these "check-in" games. Maybe everyone doesn't have to know you are at a gas station, or eating at a restaurant. After all, these are pointless tweets that have no meaning. Then again, it's still fun to do. We can only hope that PleaseRobMe.com will get shut down as soon as possible. Until then, I suggest you not use Foursquare.

Trick or Tweet?

So basically if you have seen the trending hash tag #treat on twitter then you must be wondering what its for. Well the brains down at Twitter HQ have relesed some fun little tricks just for this fattening, ghoulish day of the year. So what you want to do is go to www.twitter.com, (this trick won't work in 3rd party clients) and then in your tweet entry box only type #treat thats it nothing els just the treat hashtag and in just a few seconds your home page should look something like this,

Now if you enter the hash tag, #trick then the end result would be.

Now note that this will go away in a few seconds and when it is like this no other users on your page will be able to see this. So guys I hope you have fun with this, and also I hope all of you have a safe and fun halloween! Happy trick or twee-AHEM-treating.
