Theme Forest: Web Template Service

Theme Forest is a web template design service that allows you to purchase a design or theme with a license allowing you to use the theme for a business or service based web site. Essentially this is for those people who know how to code really well in HTML, but doesn’t feel strong in the designing portion of web design. Or in contrast it can be for the web designer to plan out the theme of the website while being able to get a web programmer to make the web site functional for those as well. One of the many talents this site offers is WordPress themes. However, for those of you who have ever used WordPress should know installing a new theme as easy as dragging and dropping the theme in a new older location. So if you’re in need of a web template of theme for your website, give theme forest a try.

WordPress is a Content Management System that uses PHP to connect to a MySQL database and retrieve & edit the contents of it.

Basically it's ready-made a piece of free software that makes doing a complicated task (creating, editing and retrieving database entries) much more user friendly by offering a GUI for working with it.

The benefits of using a CMS over standard html files are many, the main one is the ability for users to create content without the need to know html or css code, in fact you don't need to know any code at all!

There's even more reasons for you to choose WordPress over plain html. A CMS is dynamic, makes large scale and site wide edits easy.

In this day and age people have grown accustomed to having internet access on all of their devices. Some of the time you might be using the internet on your laptop other times it might be a phone. The difference in screen sizes between the 2 devices is huge.

Website owners and designers need to pay attention to the fact that people visit their site using a variety of devices, particularly business websites, because if they don't they will be losing readers and customers. Responsive web design has been growing in popularity rapidly recently and many are claiming 2013 to be the year of Responsive Design.

What is Responsive Web Design?

Responsive design is serving the exact same page to every visitor but the design and layout of that page responds to the size of the viewport. Every piece of content on a responsive site adapts to how it's being viewed  -  be it a desktop PC, a mobile phone or even a TV.
