"Entertainment / Gaming / Media Room" Tour

I really love watching 'Room Tour' videos and similar videos on the internet. They really spark new ideas for my set-up. I have received many requests for an entertainment / media room tour, and I decided to finally create one.

The set-up I showed in the video was mainly included in the purchase of the house (crazy, I know!) back in 2004. Our family hasn't changed much in the room except add a new television. Guests love to consider this room a 'theater', but I just like to call it my "be lazy and do nothing but admire a TV" room. The sound system (surround sound) audio makes movie watching, game playing, and channel surfing nothing short of breathtaking. If you want to learn more about the different items mentioned in the tour, I have added the listing below.

Major Electronics:
-Mitsubishi 60" DLP High Definition TV
-Nintendo Wii
-Xbox 360 Elite (Click here to see the unboxing!)
-Audio components are all made by different companies. (If you want to know them, leave a comment.)
-Verizon FIOS DVR
-Universal Media Room Remote (The giant one...)

Did I miss anything important? Drop a comment and I will let you know!

Thanks for reading.

This is the type of video I like however I would like to give one word of advice and this goes out to everyone who makes videos on the site. I've noticed that too many people have their camera set to what we TV and Radio people call a "mid" shot. For doing rooms like this it would be awesome if you could pan out and do a wide shot. That way you can really tell the size of things in the room. It's kinda hard to tell if you're doing a "mid" or "tight" (Close) shot. I noticed that a lot of people do mid shots. It just helps to do a full wide shot to show the actual size of things compared to other items in the room. All in all though very nice video and this is the kinda stuff I like! Yeah I'm a computer geek but more so an Audio geek also known as an audiophile. Keep up the good work.

@Kevin Bell, thanks for the comment. I have learned that video productions are not always the best. This video clearly shows that. Is there a way to set the camera on such a setting? I am all new to this, and I would be willing to take any help to improve my content. Thanks.

That's one awesome setup. My setup is pretty sweet as far as the TV size and consoles go, however the bad side is that I haven't got any awesome seating and I absolutely CANNOT keep it tidy haha!

Check out my videos at www.youtube.com/havokharrtv if you like :)
