Create a Wifi Hotspot on a Mac!

Many times using my PSP or iPod Touch I have been wanting to see how fast it would be to run internet off your Mac into your iPod Touch. To do this little project its fairly simple but you do need some common computer items to complete this objective.

Items include:

- Ethernet Cable

- Router

- Mac

- iPod Touch or any other item to test connection

The process is fairly simple and easy to handle considering its just plugging in cables and setting up a couple of sharing options in the system preferences. With this little "hack" you will be able to change the name of your wireless network, connect with other devices using your Mac. This network will run quite slow concidering your Mac has to handle both the Hotspot and its airport Wifi through your router in general at the same time.

Watch the tutorial below for the full on explanation and showcase on how to turn your Mac into a Wifi Hotspot!
