iPod Touch - 6 months later [review]

I've had the second generation iPod Touch for about 6 months now, so I figured I'd make a review. I am going to rate the iPod on 3 important factors, Design, User Interface, and Features.

Design: The iPod Touch's design follows that of its bigger brother, the iPhone. The back curves, making it feel more solid in your hand. The form factor on the iPod Touch is also fantastic. It seems as though, they designed it so that it felt firm in your hand, and was small enough to fit in your pocket.

I give the overall design on the second generation iPod Touch an 8 out of 10.

User Interface: The overall user interface on the iPod Touch and iPhone gives the user an incredible experience. The over all interface is many years ahead of any other device. In my opinion, the built in apps are very easy to use. Apple kept it simple when they designed the iPhone and iPod Touch OS.

I give the overall user interface on the second generation iPod Touch a 9.5 out of 10.

Features: The features on the iPod Touch, not only set it farther ahead in the video game industry, but also as a portable device. The accelerometer opens doors upon doors of new possibilities for the gaming industry. It allows developers to create games that we have never seen before on a mobile device. Sitting next to the touch screen, of course. The WiFi on the iPod Touch allows developers to design games with online capabilities.

I give the features on the iPod Touch a 10 out of 10.

The iPod Touch exceeds the standards for an iPod, a mobile device, and a gaming console. Overall, I give the iPod Touch a 9.5 out of 10.
