How to Keep Trucks from Hitting Bridges

If you’re a truck driver in the US, you might have noticed that sometimes, spotting the height of a bridge is a challenge. In some cases, it could be too late. I’ll admit, I’ve never had this issue since I drive a car that’s low to the ground, but I have noticed height signs only to be posted on the bridge itself, sometimes. That has disaster written all over it.

If you’re a truck driver, you’re going to need a system of maps to tell you in advance, what the height of the bridge is. Possibly even having it built into your GPS for when you’re about to go under a bridge. Maybe your device will tell you about a mile out how tall it is. Now, what if it were as easy as this? A simple sign saying:

“IF YOU HIT THIS SIGN, YOU WILL HIT THAT BRIDGE.”

Do you think this would help stop disasters?

The most "WTF" post I've ever seen on here. Kudos!
