Top 3 Features Wanted in Game Center

Apple's Game Center for iOS is a social platform for gaming. Ever since its launch, it has been very successful, and very stable. Although, it's not perfect. It has the three main features that keep people coming back to services like this: Leaderboards, Achievements, and Friends Lists. You can also play games over Wi-Fi with your friends, and with random people. Now, these features are nice, but isn't it about time Apple extends Game Center a little bit? These are the top three most wanted Game Center features.

3. Mac App Store Support

This one may seem a bit far fetched, but it's no lie that there are a lot of games finding their place on the Mac App Store. Now even though Apple may want to keep Game Center iOS exclusive, that's the exact same thing that we thought about the App Store, but its now on the Mac, also.

2. Multiplayer Chat

This one should seem obvious, but I guess not. It would be really awesome if I could talk to my friends and even randoms while they are playing a game of Need For Speed with me. Although I do understand the fact that Apple is trying to keep their platform "clean" because of the amount of young children. Although, I think that it should be a feature that you need to manually turn on, and enter an iTunes password for. There, problem solved.

1. A Browser Version

C'mon, Apple. Xbox Live has a browser version of its platform. I'm not asking to play Angry Birds on my computer, I just want to be able to see what my friends are up to if I'm away from my iOS device. Again, Xbox.com lets you see what your friends are playing, it lets you message them, and compare achievements. Is that much to ask for?

Let's hope we will see these three features added to Game Center soon, as they are all pretty standard.

How about a messaging system or facebook chat integration

I think they need to add the ability to store your game data on the Game Center server side. Restoring an iOS device means you often times lose all data from game saves and etc. It'd be wonderful if they included a way for devs to store the data on Game Center in a way that they already store the achievements and such. Just food for thought.
