Short Wave for Mac (formerly RadioZ) Review

There is a long list of internet radio applications out there. But most don't seem to have a wide array of features that allow you to integrate it all onto multiple devices. Not until Short Wave, formerly RadioZ.  It streams multiple radio stations, selected by you, onto your Mac in one place. Then gives you the chance to sync it up to listen on an iPhone or iPad.

Search songs, get title and description and read the lyrics as you listen. Easily share your favorites with friends, and customize your playlists for later use.

The channels are mostly global, making this the perfect way to listen to music from all over the world. The interface makes it simple to scroll through and make your selections, then offers a clean screen for viewing song information and using the features.

What People Are Saying

Most reviews have been positive, with praise for the interface and easy access for all users to their favorite music. It is also a music lovers dream for anyone who wants to discover new songs or artists that they may not have been familiar with in their own country.

The only criticism that is commonly seen is the smaller number of US stations that are currently provided. But this list will grow over time, and there are several high quality American radio stations available.
