What Apple needs to do with the new iPhone

Let's face it. Apple started the smart phone mania. After the iPhone's HUGE success everyone wanted in on it. Palm,Blackberry,Samsung, LG, even Google made their own smartphone's. Now, they are starting to become better than the iPhone. Better camera, easier application switching, better operating systems, faster. Apple needs to stepup their game with the new iPhone. Now, I don't know if you do, but I see a trend with iPhone's. Every year in June they announce a new iPhone. So this June they should announce a new phone. They definitily need to make some improvments though.

1. Make the proccesor faster. The new iPod Touch's are faster than the 3G

2. Better camera. The iPhone's camera is extremely shakey and without the Griffin Clarifi, they aren't clear either.

3. MMS. I am so sick of having to memorize a long code and go to another website just to see a stupid elmo dancing to disturbia(it's a text thing).

4.Easier application switching. I really like the app store. But I always get texts in the middle of a game. So in order for me to respond I have to exit my game and then go to the text. When I get back to the game I have to start over.

So those are my 4 things that I think Apple need to do with the new iPhone. Thanks for reading.

Buying Online? Save some $$$.

Previously posted on DannyMinick.com

I get most of the geeky gadgets you see from the internet. The tix clock? ThinkGeek.com of course. My Chris Pirillo books? Amazon.com is the place. My LED Candle? Also from Think Geek.

So why not save some cash? (Cache? ...bad joke.)

A large quanity of items from Think Geek have coupons, thanks to Chris Pirillo's mojo in convincing companies to save you money. Check out these sites.

  • TagJag - a search engine that finds the cheapest price for you on the product you are searching for.
  • Lockergnome - a coupon database. (Very helpful too!)

Add a Web interface to Windows Media Center: WebGuide

Earlier this week, I came across WebGuide, which is a great program for Windows Media Center. I The Main Interfacewas originally looking for a way to set TV recordings remotely, since currently I am using my parents computer for recording, and then streaming it over the network to my laptop.

With WebGuide, the computer acts as a web server, so that from a web browser anywhere you can set recordings, stream music or videos from your Media center librTV guideary, and you can even stream live TV.

Overall I really like WebGuide. It is extremely useful when i don't feel like using my parents computer to set recordings. It is a must for anyone who uses Media Center for TV recording. WebGuide is available for both XP Media Center Edition and Vista at http://www.asciiexpress.com/webguide/.
