iPhone to Verizon? Why it Wouldn't Benefit Me

There has always seemed to be rumors about the next generation iPhone or 4G to be on Verizon service, breaking away from just AT&T, but if that was to happen it wouldn't affect me. I like in an area of the continental United States where there is really not any good Verizon or AT&T coverage! I have AT&T and am in complete white not blue nor red on the coverage map below:

However, if the iPhone did go to Verizon my connection might be a bit better since there is more red around it than blue. One good thing that would come out of the switch would be that I could get a MiFi, which is a mobile WiFi hotspot. Also, if I happen to get bored of the iPhone, which won't happen, I could get a Droid or another great Android phone.

As always, thanks for reading!

Today I'm going to be sharing a video of my set up with you. I don't have much to write for this article because most of it will be covered in the video. Want to Speed Up Safari On Mac?

Safari 4 on Mac can sometimes be slow, laggy, glitchy or full of beach balls! Just one line of script in Terminal and you are set with a nice and faster Safari. I can almost guarantee you that Safari will be somewhat snappier after using the codes and restarting your Mac or Safari.

Mashable iPhone App is WIN

It takes a lot for an iPhone app to make it to my dock on my iPhone. Hardly do I ever add a third party app down there, but Mashable hit the nail on the head. And it is the first version of their app. They know what they are doing. They know how to make an app, and make it right the first time. Other developers need to take notes.

Besides the fact that the interface of the app is gorgeous, yet simple, the functionality is what wins me over on this app. I have a small following of 700+ people on Twitter that look forward to my tech tweets. I am a middle man, a referrer, a source that points people to latest in tech. And with this Mashable iPhone app, it just made my job a lot easier, especially on-the-go.

The Twitter integration is downright easy. Mashable will ask what Twitter app on your iPhone you would like to use with their app. I am a fan of Twitterific, so I chose that.

What this does is when I want to share a story I like on the Mashable app, I hit the Twitter button within the app, and it automatically launches the Twitterific app. It automatically shortens the URL, and writes the tweet, so all I have to do is press enter. And just like that, the tweet is posted and all my followers are happy. If you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch, this is a MUST app. I can not stress that enough.

Unboxing: Blue Snowflake Microphone

So far in my testings, this portable "professional" microphone is living up to all the positive reviews it has been getting. Its compact footprint takes up very little space on my desk which is always a plus, and is very easy to stow away in my laptop backpack. It is PC and Mac compatible and it needed no setup to work with my MacBook Pro, it is just plug-and-play. My review will be coming up in a week or so.
