How to Get a Refund on Any App in the App Store
I had this problem with an app last week. Every time I started it, it crashed. I would have to wait for the iPhone to reboot. Now I realize this is only $0.99 cent and most people wouldn't have gone this far for a refund, but I mean come on, there are a lot of things I could have done with that $0.99 cents.
Here are the steps I went through to get my $0.99 cent refund.
The whole ordeal is simple. Basically you request, and they say yes or no.
- Click on iTunes
- Click on the iTunes Store
- Click on your iTunes account on the right corner or Login to itunes on the right corner.
- Go to your purchase history
- Click report a problem
- Select the app that you want a refund for
- Fill out Dispute and send
There you go. That's all you need to do to request a refund. The rest is up to Apple and what ever there conclusion to the case is.
Swipe for Faster iPhone Typing
It's been proven that swiping to type is faster. By proven I mean Guinness World Record for texting proven. There used to be an app called ShapeWriter, but it has been removed from the App Store for some reason. It's a great app as you can see in the video, but you shouldn't have to cut and paste your text. Android users are likely familiar with Swype. It's basically the same thing, but it functions as the native keyboard. This is what I want to see added to the iPhone. Swype has been working on an iPhone app for months. Let's just hope Apple approves it.
SkyFire Is Here: Flash Video On Your iPhone
In the past few weeks there has been a lot of talk about the up-and-coming 3rd party iPhone web browser, SkyFire. SkyFire promises to bring Flash video support, by way of live conversion to HTML5. It was released today, and I've been having a play with it. So far, I like it! It works well: All Flash videos I've tried have played, framerate was quite high and picture quality was above satisfactory, too.
This is, by no means, a full blown review. More of a heads-up that this £1.79 ($3) application is now available from iTunes.
*Update* - Apparently SkyFire has already been removed from the Italian App Store. We can only wait and see what happens next.
Playstation Phone First Look
This video was about my initial impressions about the very interesting PSP Phone. The phone has a very similar form factor to that of a PSP Go. However, it will be running on the Android platform. It should provide the latest firmware, which will be 3.0. You will also be able to play titles from the PSP which I think is a great feature for all the gamers out there. The phone has a d-pad so that will be great for gaming. Playstation phone also packs a 1 GHz processor and 512 MB of RAM. There haven't been too many details released about the phone, so I will continue to provide details for you! Thank you for watching!
