Programming Tutorials Windows App

Today we’re going to be looking into a Windows application called “Programming Tutorials”. This application helps people understand programming by teaching them through a visual method or a “Do as I do” method. Having various kinds of instructors and different ways of teaching, this application allows for a variety of categories on different kinds of programming languages. For example, Ruby, Python, C++, C#, or even HTML is covered in its own category to make it easier for navigation. So if you are able to learn better through someone teaching you while watching and mimicking their actions, give this application a try. It’s very organized and can be helpful to anyone who is wanting to learn a programming language.

Night Lighter & Browser Quest 

Finally I decided to look at Microsoft’s application store for something entertaining or just for something  to toy around with. I found two things in particular that caught my attention and those two things are Night Lighter, and Browser Quest. Both are games and are pretty simple to understand and play. Both use just the mouse as a controller, but one is more fun than the other. First we are going to take a look into the game “Night lighter” because of the cute flame character for the icon caught my attention first.

IFixIt Application


Ifixit is a Windows 8 application that is an all in one do it yourself manual. Ranging from electronics to around the house kind of jobs, I fix it provides a wide variety of manuals and guides for people to read and follow. This application has an easy to use interface and is as simple as clicking and going. It’s a free to use application that you can download from the Microsoft app store and can provide information on technology, vehicles, appliances, electronics, game consoles, and much more. So if you have something around the house, or something very specific that needs fixed or repaired, or even just needing general information, give the Ifixit Application a try.

Brains Behind the Game

Although many years have passed since the inception of the digital revolution, the brains behind the most integral innovations that have made such a revolution possible still migrate towards Silicon Valley. It is no surprise when one takes into consideration the over $3.1 trillion that have been invested in the area only on venture capital since 2000.

If one has a revolutionary idea but is seeking funding for the first time, then there is no better place in the country to be. In 2010 alone, venture capital doled out $22 billion into over 2,700 companies. Of the thousands of companies seeking funding, just over 1,000 of them were receiving funding for the first time in their existence. The most notable startups in the modern age received their start in this general area, adding to the enthusiasm and the idea that Silicon Valley is a constant gold mine for technological innovation.
