Windows 10 Overview & Thoughts

On Wednesday July 29th Microsoft has finally released Windows 10 taking it out of the Beta form and giving it a full release to the public. If you were a Windows 7 or Windows 8 user, you were given the chance to get a free upgrade by reserving it or pay the $120+ for a copy of the program. If you had a reserved copy you were notified that your upgrade was available, or letting you know that a copy will be available for your computer soon. Most of the delays are due to computer manufacturers preparing drivers for the operating system, or minor bugs being fixed. Xbox One SDK Released (ITT)

Going into the New Year it is apparent that 2015 is going to be an interesting year for technology. Today’s Interesting Tech Topics should prove that in some way or another. With a new way to pay parking tickets being developed in New York City, to a curved HD monitor for gaming, to even a lens that can detect eye disease before it even begins. Flappy Bird Returns!

Today we are going to be covering several technology based news topics that you may find interesting or useful to know. One of the topics that have been the buzz on several news websites is flappy bird creator Dong Nguyen is re-releasing Flappy Bird this august with some new improvements including a multiplayer feature so that others can compete against each other. Dong Nguyen has also stated he is going to try and make the game less addicting, how exactly he is going to be doing that is unknown. But good fortune will come to Dong Nguyen, because of the mass hype of the first Flappy Bird game; it shouldn’t be hard to meet maximum sales within the month of the game being released.

Microsoft Releases Office for iPad, and Cuts Support to Windows XP

Although it has been four years it has finally happened, and was the talk of the tech community last week. Finally Microsoft releases the Office for iPad application, which is now on the top most downloaded applications in the iPad’s app store. It may not be the best of office applications, but it was what people were looking for in an office application. It is free to download but you do have to have an Office 365 account to create and edit documents. But you can read documents with no problem. Stumble Upon

Today we’re going to be looking at a free to use application from the Windows 8 app store called “Stumble Upon”. What this application does is keep track of all of your interests and brings up multiple websites and articles based on that interest. All of this is displayed within a good looking tile based environment. From here, if you find something you like or are interested in you can like and share the post to all of your social networking accounts with just a click of a button. Aside from that, the next best thing we can talk about it the tiles and things within the environment itself.
