Sony Sells Over 4.1 Million PS4's (ITT)

This week was the beginning of CES2015 (Consumer Electronic Show) and there was a lot shown within the last couple of days. With new and useful gadgets and applications being displayed, and the announcement of new 4K televisions you can see why a lot of people get excited to attend this yearly event. However with dish’s new network “sling TV”, a pacifier that can monitor your baby’s temperature and medication intake, to the possibility of desktop computer graphics being outputted on a tablet that fits in the palm of our hand, you can tell this year is just a bit more special

Night Lighter & Browser Quest

Finally I decided to look at Microsoft’s application store for something entertaining or just for something  to toy around with. I found two things in particular that caught my attention and those two things are Night Lighter, and Browser Quest. Both are games and are pretty simple to understand and play. Both use just the mouse as a controller, but one is more fun than the other. First we are going to take a look into the game “Night lighter” because of the cute flame character for the icon caught my attention first.

Flappy Bird Review

Over the past week I’ve been hearing a lot of good and bad things about this hit sensation called “Flappy Bird”. But what is flappy bird? Believe it or not it is an Android and iOS game made by Dong Nguyen and as soon as it became a big hit, it was taken off of the map due to the creator saying he didn’t want this fame and didn’t mean for this game to be that successful. So on February 8^th Flappy Bird was taken off of the app store so no one could play the game anymore. I wondered why this game was a personal favorite by many, so I decided to look around until I found an exact copy of the game made in Flash.  So it may not be the original, but it can give me a good insight on what the hype was all about for this game.

Game Time Episode 1: Contra

Game Time was an idea I had back in summer 2013 that was going to combine the use of video game reviews and a dry (almost non-existent) sense of humor. With the holidays coming and going I was finally able to work on the idea a bit further, allowing me to finish the first episode. In this episode of game time we are going to be looking into the game called “Contra” and it’s personal creepy factor. From the creature design to the general idea of the game itself, we find out that many different levels of creepy exist in this classic NES game.

Chrome Apps Episode 5: Cut The Rope (Video)

                  While browsing through the Google Chrome App store I kept finding this game with a cute little monster on the cover on it. At first It caught my attention, but I decided to look away from it for a little bit longer. But on one boring Saturday afternoon I decided to shrug my shoulders and give the game a shot. I didn’t know what to expect from the cover itself, but through the in game screenshots I started to think of something more on the lines of fruit ninja a puzzle game. I was kind of right, but not exactly right. The story goes as follows. A package arrives at your door step with a sign that says “Feed with Candy” on the box with a pair of eyes peeping through the whole. It’s not the greatest of plots, but it does make you want to feed this little bugger some candy.
