Radiant Review

Today we are going to be taking a look into a game I had found on the Windows 8 App store and is free to download. If you are a fan of the old space invaders series then this might be a blast from the past to you. With colorful graphics and catchy music this game can entertain not just you but the whole family. The easy to use controls allows for almost every too play this game with a mouse or a touch screen. If you have a kid and you want to find a child friendly game then this game is for you.  If you want to know more on this game, or just want to download it, then click the link below.

Game Time Episode 1: Contra

Game Time was an idea I had back in summer 2013 that was going to combine the use of video game reviews and a dry (almost non-existent) sense of humor. With the holidays coming and going I was finally able to work on the idea a bit further, allowing me to finish the first episode. In this episode of game time we are going to be looking into the game called “Contra” and it’s personal creepy factor. From the creature design to the general idea of the game itself, we find out that many different levels of creepy exist in this classic NES game.

The Best Leather Case For The iPhone 5: Sena's UltraSlim Classic For iPhone 5 Full Review

I first came across the brand Sena on a forum (not unlike the ones on The Verge or Lifehacker asking readers to choose and vote on their favorite cases) - back in those days, Sena was nowhere as popular or as mainstream as they are now. However, just visiting the website alone for the first time perked my interests: they seem to be doing leather cases exclusively. Of course, there were many variations of the type of leather cases they did including snap-ons, silicon-type all around cover and the slip-ons. In this review, we're going to be talking about the slip-ons, the famous UltraSlim Classic for the iPhone 5 (they have other variations of this case such as the UltraSlim Access) since they seem to be the most popular model as well as being, well, the original.

Starting off with the packaging, we're got an incredibly simple boxed case with a clear see through window. On the top of the box we see what Sena is really famous for - "Handcrafted/Italian Leather". Moving to the back of the box, we've got a few more descriptions such as "Handcrafted from the finest quality, full-grain leather". Even before prying into the box, the whole presentation just screams quality.

Unboxing Power Mac G5

The Specs

HDD: 250GB SATA
RAM: 4GB DDR
CPU: 2.0GHz (Dual Core)
DVD-RW Super Drive
GeForce FX 5200 (Will upgrade if possible)
OS: OSX Tiger 10.4.8

What is the power mac G5? Well it was a top of the line computer back in its day. Using a 64-bit power processor (which has been discontinued and switched with a Intel processor) there was no limitations on what you could do! But seeing as this in a six year old computer, there are now limitations for what you can do. Would I recommend this computer to you? Yes and no. I will be doing a weekly usage to see if it is something you would get your money’s worth. So I will be able to answer that question shortly.

So far, I was able to install adobe creative suite and get everything to work. I wasn't too sure if CS5 would work, so I installed CS3. Everything runs amazingly smooth; however safari keeps closing on YouTube’s main page. But if I go to a channel, everything works out. All in all, I do recommend this computer, however it is considerably cheap (being an old computer) but you can find these computers on eBay for a couple hundred dollars. Some come with Leopard, some do not.

Why kill the Classic?

As many of you know Apple's September 9th event is tomorrow and will probably feature some refinements to Apple TV and the iMac's. One known fact is that they will update the iPod lineup to a more sexy lineup of music listening devices. The iPod touch rumored to have a camera, and the nano with more abilities and memory as well. But what about the Classic? Rumors have it that Apple will "kill" the Classic and move away from one of the original iPod designs since 2001 when they were first released. I say, " Don't kill the Classic" because

1. It will start moving the defintion of iPod's to a more mobile device with more features like an iPhone rather than it's original intention of music.

2. It's the Classic, it was the first iPod ever built and it will make the old fashion mac or apple fanboy's upset that Apple will move away from the revolutionary product that it is.

3. What is wrong with the Classic? It has the capacity to hold 30,000 songs and 150 hours of video, which is nearly four times the capacity of the 32 gig iPod Touch.

So here's my point, for all you iPod users and new iPod users, if you love music and love watching movies and TV shows, why would you get rid of the one product that does that the best?
