5 Ways To Fix A Computer With A Black Screen

black screenFixing a computer with a black screen can be easy or hard depending on what caused the problem and whether you have a desktop or a laptop. Some problems—like loose cords—are super easy to fix, but other problems—like black screens on laptops—may require an expert repair. But whatever your problem, here are five easy ways to try to fix it:

Fix A Black Screen #1: Check Your Cords

If you have a desktop computer, go through and check all the cords which connect to your monitor. Most monitors have two main cords plus (maybe) some additional cords for sound. Check both ends of every cord which isn’t hardwired into your monitor to make sure they’re well-connected. This will fix many black screen problems.

How To Record Your Screen For Free On A Mac

Many people worry over which screen recorder is the best, which to buy, how to get the money to afford one. If you own a Macintosh computer wish OSX10 then you for sure already have one built into your machine with Quicktime. If you just need to record something simple in full screen, there is no need to buy a program like Screenflow, if you need up close and personal recordings, you may need to though.

4-inch iPhone 5 Retina Display Screen?

Recent rumors suggest that the 5th generation iPhone will feature a 4-inch Retina Display screen. According to Apple's component suppliers:

The component suppliers noted that the production lines for Apple's next generation iPhone have begun testing, and Apple is interesting in expanding the screen size to 4-inches to support the tablet PC market as the vendor only has a 9.7-inch iPad in the market.

It's believed that this increase in screen realestate from the previous iPhone measuring at 3.5-inches, is due to the up-and-coming competition of various Android devices. Recently released Android devices are boasting much larger '4 to 7-inch' screen's. It can be assumed that Apple may be testing a beta iPhone 5 with this reported screen size, but will this beta see the light of day? In this video, I provide my opinion on the rumored iPhone 5 4-inch screen, feel free to give input on your opinion as well.

iPhone 4: The Facts

There was a lot of hype as to what new features will be included in apples new innovative iPhone and apple did not fail to deliver. The new “iPhone 4” was released today (7th June 2010) at the WWDC, from the moment it was revealed it had many peoples jaw dropping. The phone has had a complete re-design which brings even more elegance and class to the iPhones name, the front and back of the phone has two glass panels which Apple claims is 30x harder than plastic. Also on the exterior of the iPhone is a stainless steel ring which gives the phone a more rigid frame, as well as acting as an antenna.

Another great feature apple have announced is their “Retina Display” which is the highest quality screen ever put into a phone boasting 320 pixels per inch. Also new is a 5.0 megapixel camera with an LED flash; this is a great advance as one of the previous iPhones let downs was its camera. It also has a front facing camera which can be used for video calling or as apple have called it “Face Time”, this is not such a great feature as apple have lead us to believe, as this type of technology has been around for a while.

Video recording was only introduced to the iPhone line when the “3gs” came out although the iPhone 4 records full 720p High definition video which can easily be edited on the iPhone using iMovie.  This adds great value to the iPhone and is sure to make it a great seller.

All in all the iPhone 4 is set to be a great success with some great new features such as its “Retina display” just reiterating how good apple are at surprising us and showing the endless capabilities of technology. The release of this phone is sure to get all other companies working hard to design and develop a rival to it which can only be a good thing. In my opinion I believe the iPhone 4 is great and I am sure to be spending my money on one.

Apple Rumour: Touchscreen iMac

Rumours have been floating around Twitter that Apple could be annoucing a brand new line of iMac's, along with the 'iSlate', with touchscreen functionality.

The new 22" iMac is to bring the experience from the normal iMac to a brand new level. I focuses the touch functions available on the iPhone, Magic Mouse and the Macbook trackpad all to the screen. By adding this functionality, Apple will make one of their already big products even bigger, more expensive and with more power than a average household would want.

Although this sounds like a bad idea, it would be useful to schools, particularly schools which have disabled children or adults who don't know how to use a desktop computer. The functionality would also allow photographers to skim through the photos took on the photoshoot, view it full screen and send them straight off to their client.

I must say although the idea looks a bit misty right now, if it isn't announced sometime this year, it'll certainly be released sometime next year.
