Koding App Review

Today we are going to be taking a look at an application that I found while searching for something else. As strange as that may sound, I was actually looking for a community that was designed around the idea of programming or coding. While browsing the Google Chrome App Store I found an app that was not just an application to help you with coding on hand, but a community full of developers that were willing to help people out. That app was called “Koding”. Because you know, it’s always more epic to spell things with a “K” rather than a “C”. So I loaded up the application and registered an account with the site and began using this application.

When you first start using this app, you will start to notice how everything is organized. Depending on what you’re looking for, this app is designed to fit your needs as a programmer. For example, are you better at CSS rather than Java? Then guess what, there are sections for both of those things. If you’re good at one thing, you can actually assist the community with that section. However if you’re like me and you joined this app to find some kind of help, then other people who are best at that section will be more than willing to assist you with any problems. It’s kind of like a technical support group, but full of humans rather than robots.

Another plus about this application is the application included within this application. Appception. Aside from that poor joke, there is a lot of apps that can help you do some work while using the app. This may seem like a no brainer, but think of it like this. Say you’re working on a project and you need some kind of idea where to go from where you left off. You can save it on their servers or even work on something on there and be able to share it with the large community that is available to you. From there they can help you, or destroy you. (joking). But this does allow for a wide range of communication and project ideas.

Again, you can get this app for free in the Google Chrome App Store. I do like the idea of this application because it could be one step forward for someone’s career as a developer, or programmer. It can help someone push forward in achieving his or her goals. Who knows, that person may be the next developer for something bigger than Facebook. They’ll never know until they try.

Thank you for taking the time to read this article and watching the video.
