How to Get a Refund on Any App in the App Store

I had this problem with an app last week. Every time I started it, it crashed. I would have to wait for the iPhone to reboot. Now I realize this is only $0.99 cent and most people wouldn't have gone this far for a refund, but I mean come on, there are a lot of things I could have done with that $0.99 cents.

Here are the steps I went through to get my $0.99 cent refund.

The whole ordeal is simple. Basically you request, and they say yes or no.

  • Click on iTunes
  • Click on the iTunes Store
  • Click on your iTunes account on the right corner or Login to itunes on the right corner.
  • Go to your purchase history
  • Click report a problem
  • Select the app that you want a refund for
  • Fill out Dispute and send

There you go. That's all you need to do to request a refund. The rest is up to Apple and what ever there conclusion to the case is.

Top 5 Free iPod touch/iPhone Games

At the moment I have about 15 free games on my iPod touch. After playing them all for about two weeks, I will share with you my top 5 favorite free games for the iPhone/iPod touch

1. Backbreaker
Backbreaker is a football game with an arcade style. You use simple controls in the bottom corners of your screen to dodge opponents until you can score a touchdown. You get points for juking, spinning, and showboating when you near the end zone. I am currently addicted to this game and cannot put it down. I highly recommend downloading this game if you are into sports, or if you are just looking for a good game.

2. MazeFinger
Mazefinger is a simple maze game which is connected via the plus+ network. You use your fingers to move a ball through different mazes, and it gets harder as you go on. You are timed so you need to move quickly. You are given a rank after each maze you complete, the ranks you can get include: Awesome, Great, Good, Okay, and Weak. You are also given an overall rank after each level.

3. PapiJump
Simple, yet probably one of the funnest games out there. PapiJump lets you climb to the top with a small ball. You move the device from side to side in order to get the ball to move. Just don't let the ball fall. If you complete this, you will love PapiJump.

4. Paper Toss
Paper toss is exactly what the title says, you toss papers. You can choose different locations to do this, and all  you have to do is simply use your finger to throw the paper in one direction, and land it in the trash can. But there is a catch, a fan will be blowing your paper from one side of the room to the other. So you must adjust where you toss the paper to in order to get it in the can.

5. FallDown!
FallDown! is a simple game just like PapiJump, except it is in reverse order. You are trying to get the ball from the top to the bottom as fast as you can. You just lean the device side to side and try to get the ball to fall through the holes. But don't get too far behind, or it will be game over.

As always feel free to leave suggestions and comments for next time. And let me know your favorite iPhone/iPod Touch games. You can check me out on Twitter by clicking

The Coolest Mac OS X Screensaver

Finding the perfect wallpaper is quite a difficult task, but the quest for the best screensaver is simple. Here I have the App Wall Screensaver, which simply is a screensaver compromised of apps. More specifically, it is based upon either the top free or paid app in the iTunes App Store. The screensaver gets live updates from the App Store feed and displays the app icons. If you are a geek as I am and most of the people on TekSocial, you will really enjoy this wallpaper. Below is a video demo of the screensaver in action:
