This device allows you to plug in video game consoles, such as the Xbox 360, PS3, and Nintendo Wii, as well as DVR Cable Boxes. If you are interested in recording your video games to upload to YouTube, the HD PVR is the best solution. It i basically plug and play, with easy to use software. Out of the box, the HD PVR is only compatible with Windows, but you can download drivers and compatible software for Mac OS X.

The excitement behind the "Call of Duty's" latest line in the hit series was unbelievable, just like every new launch the promise of a new lease of life in the series is always so highly promised, however such a rarity.
It seemed more evident then ever that in these past few months that the Call of duty gamer is becoming more and more board and starting to leave this once so dominant game. But what is causing the downfall in this series and what can be done?
Quite simply the business is so big that they are scared to fail, gone are the days where it could afford to try out a new class system or even a totally different type of game play; instead it stays very safe by rolling out the same game as previous one just with different maps or less glitchy game play. For the past 2/3 updates to the series we have seen no evidence of new exiting updates to revolutionise the game play and totally shack up what the level first person shooters have to compete with. But what can the user do to send out a message to the call of duty series, well don't buy it!
At this time many view the call of duty series at its weakest and there is no other game looking to take it of the top spot then the latest instalment of the battlefield series. The new game coming in Autumn 2011 is set to take down the call of duty franchise with even the CEO of EA implying that they are aiming to take down the big boy at the top of FPS line.
What ever your opinion one thing is for sure, change is good, and we should do everything we can to demand change from gaming companies.
Are you a serious gamer? Do you try to squeeze every drop of XP out of every game? Well chance's are you're in the market for quality gaming peripherals. So today I will be reviewing my Turtle Beach X41 headset.
This product comes in two pieces; the headset itself and the receiver. This means the headset itself is wireless and you have no cords to get tangled up on when you are playing a frustrating Capture the flag game on Black Ops.
The headset is powered by two AAA batteries and the receiver gets its power from your all mighty Xbox via a USB port. As expected from Turtle Beach all the inputs are there for the average user. You can obtain your fantastic Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound sound from either your typical RCA ports or optical. There is a headphone jack on the front if you would like a friend to hear your pwnage or you could ultimately hook up a speaker system via an auxiliary cable.
As with most things, you get what you pay for when you purchase this $300 AUD headset. The exterior of both components are made from strong and sturdy materials. The cushions are double stitched and the plastic, unlike other headsets, does not feel flimsy. The sound quality is superior to any other headset I have previously had experiences with. When I say you can hear a bullet go past, you can, trust me. They are unbelievable!
So, is it worth your well earned cash? I say yes. The feature list just goes on and on. Everything about this product is fantastic! The only negative things I have to say about this product is that you will be buying batteries constantly, but that is expected with such a high powered device. Secondly, the headset doesn't sense when you aren't playing a game or playing around on the console. This becomes annoying after a while because the headset leaves itself on and drains the batteries, but I suppose for those who are OCD about their Xbox this wont be a problem.
Overall, I would give this product an 8/10. It is a little overpriced and the continuous need for purchasing and changing batteries does get annoying at times. But, please don't let that stop you from buying this headset. It is an excellent product with many valuable features that will please all gamers.
