[Review] Crumpler 3000 Compact Systems Camera Bag

I always enjoy a good camera bag, something that can protect my equipment and still look stylish and descrete. The Crumpler 3000 compact systems camera bag does just that, it keeps your camera equipment well protected, whilst keeping it stylish and descrete when out and about.

Upon opening the bad you are greeted to a lot of room inside for your CS Camera, including the Sony Nex-5 and Olympus Pen range. Also inside the bad are compartments for memory cards and a mesh pocket you can use to store backup batteries, flash units and filters inside. In terms of room I was able to fit my Sony Nex-5 with its 18-55 lens attached, and my Sunglasses case and a couple other things inside the main compartment, along with my spare batteries and lens filters inside the mesh compartment.

The bag doesn't leave too much room, but does keep your items secure, with a separater in the middle that can be adjusted to suit your cameras size. In terms of carry-ability, the bag can sometimes feel like its slipping off your shoulder, this may be because I choose not to use the included shoulder strap cover, but the bag does stay on the shoulder, even when moving about a lot with the intention of making it fall off.

The positives:

  • Stylish design with minimal company advertiting
  • Well secured with Velcro/buckle clip
  • contrasting colours (Black outer, Green inner)
  • Good storage inside
  • Movable compartment splitter
  • lightweight yet protective.

The negatives:

  • Mesh can sometimes feel a little weak
  • Could be shipped with a second compartment splitter
  • Front flap could have more pockets

Apart from the negatives listed above, I really don't have anymore negatives with this bag. For short trips its perfect for its purpose, and saves carrying a big camera bag around with you.

The Crumpler 3000 Compact Systems Camera Bag can be purchased from Love Cases in the UK, where you can find many cases for cameras, and cases specifically for the Sony Nex-5, which I used in this review.

Otterbox Reflex Series iPhone 4/4s Review

Otterbox has been the standard for protective cases for cell phones and tech devices for a while now, but the one complaint that many people have is how bulky it makes their devices when in use. It seems that Otterbox has addressed this concern with their Reflex series for the iPhone 4/4s, and they did an awesome job at it. This case does not add hardly any bulk to your phone, no more than you would expect any cell phone case to. It is great protection without the sacrifice of design or astetic appeal.

iFrogz Luxe Transitions Case Metallic Green Unboxing - iPhone 4S

What is your favorite color? Green? Blue? Now you don't have to make a decision to buy one case! The iFrogz Luxe Transitions case in Metallic Green gives you the best of both worlds (also offered in Pink/Purple). This hard shell case is based off the award winning iFrogz Luxe case but instead of a black bottom piece and colored top you get a gradient color over the entire case. Not to mention the case itself is fantastic. Watch my video for more and stay tuned for a review to come!

Snugg Amazon Kindle Fire Black Leather Case Cover and Flip Stand

When looking for a case for your brand new Amazon Kindle Fire, the market may not seem that great. In fact, it isn't! I hate to admit it, but the market for cases for the Amazon Kindle Fire is full of cheap knockoffs and products that won't last you over a few months at the best. One case however, is making it's presence known in the world of cases for the Amazon Kindle Fire. That case is the Snugg Black Leather Case Cover and Flip Stand for the Kindle Fire. Check out the full review and first look in my video review.

Review: id America Gasket Case for iPhone 4/4S

The Gasket case by idAmerica is a very unique, aluminum case mimicking the design of an engine head gasket. It doesn't offer the best protection and the case has some flaws, but it sure is a head-turner and gets a 7.5/10 from me.
