Future of the iPhone

In the video above I explain my thoughts on what the future of the iPhone will be. Many people think it may becoming to Verizon or a different US cellular carrier. We will have to sit back and relax and just wait this one out to see what will happen. I would love for it to come to Verizon because I am a Verizon customer, but after seeing the advertisements for the Motorola Droid, I do not feel as confident that Verizon will land the iPhone.

Please go ahead and leave a comment. I would love to hear your thoughts about the situation.

Exposé For iPhone?

Exposé is one of the most productive and useful feature in Mac OS X. Have you ever thought of it on an iPhone or iPod Touch? Ocean Observations has an idea, an Exposé feature for the iPhone and iPod Touch by using the home button’s double tap features. Tap the home button, and up to 9 pages of homescreen are shown in a grid. Tapping any of the displayed pages will jump you directly to that page, allowing you to skip from page 1 to page 8 without swiping 7 times. Interesting idea, but would Apple include this or would it be a “jailbroken iPhone charm”? I can see myself using this, because it could also mean running apps in the background. Here below is a demo of the “iPhone Springboard Exposé”

Ads Now On Google Maps iPhone App

Apparently, now on the Google Maps iPhone app there are “Sponsored Links”. As you can see, the object that holds the links are a customized icon rather than the thumbtacks. Apple’s recent purchase of the mapping service company Placebase could suggest that Apple may be into making some new maps and stray away from Google. Google Maps is an app that comes pre-installed on the iPhone and never had ads. Since this came installed, it shouldn’t have ads of any kind on it. Google is a tyrant, always trying to add to their large monopoly. Ah what do you think about Google ads on the Google Maps app and why Apple has allowed it.

Get Great Deals On iPhone and iPod Touch Apps

Bargain Bin is the greatest iPhone app ever! Maybe not, but it certainly is great. Bargain is an application the goes through the iTunes App Store and finds apps with price drops or changes. Bargain Bin is much better than App Sniper (another similar app) because it allows you to use push notifications, is free and is overall much nicer looking. One thing about Bargain Bin that I don't is that it has no search feature, which would definitely be nice!
