CCleaner Review (Video Included)

I was having problems with my computer recently and I needed an application that could scan and fix some of the problems I was having. I tried all the virus scans, malware scans, and even spyware/adware scans, and I came to the conclusion that it wasn’t a problem as far as viruses were concern. So I did some research and found out it could have been a lot of stored files that were not being used. So when I was searching for something to fix this problem I remember an application my class was using a while back called CCleaner. What the software does is scans and cleans out your cookies and cache files from your internet history to protect your privacy from unwanted files. Speaking of unwanted files this program also scans for unused file extensions and fixes them.  Another positive side to this application is that it searches and cleans out your registry on your computer. This is a major plus because some of today’s viruses and worms actually hide in your registry and could affect your entire computers performance and even get into your mail accounts sending off random e-mail. Now the question you may be having is “Does it really work?” I can understand the question because it does seem too good to be true, but I can answer that question with a most definite yes....

Order & Chaos Online Mage

The hardest choice to make when starting an MMORPG is what type of character you want to choose. I always choose the mage, in every RPG that I have ever played I choose the mage, and Order & Chaos Online for ios, Android, and Mac devices is no exception. The question is always asked, why a mage? The answer for me is simple, they get the coolest powers. So, if you're in a rut over which type of character to choose for Order & Chaos Online, you may want to consider the mage.

Order & Chaos Online for iOS, Android, Mac Review

One of the games that can't seem to leave the top charts in the iOS iTunes App Store is Order & Chaos by GameLoft. I wasn't a huge fan of the idea of having a subscription put on any game on my iPad 2, but I figured that I would give the game a chance, because after all the subscription is only $0.99 a month after the 3 months that are included with the purchase of the game.

Right off the bat I was frustrated by an almost 2-hour download of the app. I don't have the fastest internet, but I can normally stream Netflix on my HDTV, upload a YouTube video and update all of my apps on my iPhone at the same time with no problem, but regardless of the wait I wanted to play the game.

The controls are very intuitive and easy to pick up on, the graphics are pretty great, and surprisingly there is generally no lag whatsoever. It seamlessly incorporates other players into your game and creates one of the best online MMOs on portable devices, and devices in general.

Will Video Game Streaming Services Really Catch On?

This was originally posted on agamingsite.com

Whether its queuing in line for hours to get the latest 'Call of Duty' or saving up every penny so you can get the latest game; every gamer knows the excitement of breaking that plastic seal for the first time and placing the disk into your console of choice, but is this set to disappear?
It seems that every industry is trying to move as much of their operations onto the web; an example of this can be seen clearly in the music market, CD sales down and mp3 downloads up its no wonder why certain business are encountering shaky times; but is this set to move over to the gaming industry? This inevitable move for everything to be on the web shows no sign of stopping and instead looks set to smash through gaming more then any other industry, with companies such as 'OnLive' and others researching into how best to enter this market. But should we embrace this or rather fight against it?
I for one feel like we should welcome this move as it can have big impacts and change many factors; one of which being environmental issues, with all the packaging that engulfs games today its no wonder that there is an environmental impact for clearing all this and recycling it, however with a streaming service their would be no need for any packaging at all and therefore have less impact. Furthermore the lack of packaging would also create a slight reduce in cost which would be much welcomed by all!
Additionally a streaming service would also make game rental a lot easier and eliminate the tiresome task of having to take them back on a deadline or otherwise be fined; as with an online service the game could just be removed from your account when your rental finishes and save you time and money.

There are many arguments against streaming games as well, although over time i expect it to be inevitable, as technological capabilities change so will the users experience in gaming. But will we still get that excitement of opening a new game out of its case? Only time will tell.
