What Comes After Panoramic Photos?

Wind back the clock 15 years. Imagine yourself wiping the sweat off your brow after the close call that was the “Y2K Millenium Bug”… Phew, that was a close one wasn’t it?

You take a glance down at your phone, thankful to be alive and decide to give your folks a call to express how grateful you are for planes not falling out of the sky and computers not spontaneously combusting around us.

You finish the call, and decide to take selfie to celebrate the moment… wait? A what? What’s a selfie!!? Yup, that’s right, there really wasn’t such a thing as a “Selfie” back then. Sure people used to take pictures of themselves using cameras pointing the wrong way, but these weren’t globally known as selfies, they weren’t splattered in front of our vision every waking moment of every waking day. They were an occasional bad photo amongst an album, or a snap from a web cam as they increasingly became popular.

The Best Free Meditation Apps For The Kindle Fire HD

Who says technology can't be spiritual?  Here are a handful of meditation apps that can help you on the road to enlightenment.  As of this writing, you can download these apps for free at the Amazon app store for the Android.

Some features may require you to upgrade to a premium version, but all these apps have enough to offer in free mode.  Please note that apps may be incompatible with certain devices.  Check each product description at the app store before you decide to get it.

Meditation Garden

Meditation Garden by Mind Attuned is a full-featured meditation app.  It comes with a timer, sound effects, background images and a journal.  The timer lets you set the length and number of sessions, as well as preparation time or "warm up."  If you want to mark the passage of time during a sitting, you can set the bell to ring at fixed or random intervals.  For example, if you set a session to last for an hour, you can specify intervals at, say, every twenty minutes.

There is always so much to remember, so many things going on in my life. Keeping it all straight is enough to a hassle that I have come to rely on organization apps more than most.

But there are other apps that can be helpful. Such as this fantastic memory and concentration enhancing program, Lumosity.

Resume Designer iPhone App Review

It is always important to have an up-to-date, well written and professional looking resume, even when you're not looking for a job. I even keep a couple in my car, just in case I come across an opportunity where one is needed. That is actually the way I ended up with my last job, and a significant ride in salary.

Now it is easier than even to always have a copy on hand with your smartphone. But we aren't all so good at putting one together, which is when you need Resume Designer.

Self Publish A Book

I get asked the question a lot, "How do you self publish, and is self publishing a hard thing to do?" It's actually quite simple once you begin the process. I also get asked if you make a lot of money from books when you self publish. To answer that, I haven't personally, but it depends upon how you market your book. It all depends upon the effrot you are willing to put into getting the word about your book out there.
