Verizon Samsung Stratosphere Review

Needless to say, Verizon Wireless has been pushing out more Android phones over the last few months than anyone can keep track of. One of the more or less popular releases was the Samsung Stratosphere. The Stratosphere will seem fairly similar to anyone that is familiar with Samsung's previously released 'Epic' (released exclusive to Sprint). In a way, the Stratosphere is the first of its kind. It is the first phone on Verizon's network with the combination of a physical QWERTY keyboard and 4G LTE capabilities.

In this review, I cover the key points of the Samsung Stratosphere. Sharing its strengths as well as its weaknesses. Is the Stratosphere worthy of being your next phone?

Mini Displayport to HDMI on a Macbook Pro (Tutorial)

Interested in using your HDTV as a seperate display with your beloved Mac? Today I'm going to show you how to put that Mini Display port that's on the side of your Macbook / Macbook Pro to good use. This simple tutorial and/or demonstration will walk you through some basic steps you can take to display what's on your mac, on your HDTV. Assuming that you have both a Mac as well as an HDTV, these are the accessories you will need: A Mini Displayport to HDMI Adapter, and a standard HDMI cable. The Mini Displayport to HDMI adapter that I used for this tutorial is made by "Monoprice" and can be found here for $7.65. The HDMI cable that will be used in this tutorial is made by "Media Bridge" and can be found here for $8.99. These are two brands that I have been using for nearly a year with no issues and are proven top quality products.

In this video, I provide you with an in depth demonstration on connecting your Mini Displayport to HDMI on a Macbook Pro. If you have any questions regarding the tutorial, feel free to leave a comment on the video page, thanks.

T-Mobile's Project Emerald: HTC Glacier - Dual Core Smartphone

Recently, T-Mobile has hinted towards one of their future endevor's entitled "Project Emerald". In Quarter 4 of 2009, T-Mobile had announced "Project Black", which entailed great budget plans for current and future T-Mobile customers. The buzz that follows this year's "Project" is that T-Mobile will be unveiling a new HTC smartphone to compliment their brand new HSPA+ network. With the addition of the Samsung Vibrant, it would seem that T-Mobile is attempting to take a step forward in the competitive smartphone race. It's obvious that T-Mobile has been behind in the race with its fellow carriers for having "The Best Smartphone" available, so hopefully this "Project Emerald" will help usher T-Mobile ahead of the pack.

It can be assumed that this rumored phone will take advantage of T-Mobile's HSPA+ network, considering the fact that T-Mobile does not currently have a HSPA+ enabled phone available on their network.

In this video, I discuss T-Mobile's Project Emerald, as well as the rumored HTC Glacier.

YouTube Partner: My Experience

Ever wonder how many videos, video views, channel views and subscribers it takes to become a YouTube Partner? While there is no road paved with specific instructions on what it takes to become a Partner, I will share with you my experience in becoming a Partner for YouTube. In this video I provide you guys with the date that I applied, the date I was accepted, and the specific stats that my channel accumulated over time. This video is not a guideline to what your channel should look like; it is simply advice and/or insight toward my side of things. I don't advise anyone to ONLY strive for money with YouTube for multiple reasons. YouTube began as a hobby for me, and whether I were to earn money or not, I would still enjoy making videos.

Vizio 26" HDTV Unboxing

After much deliberation, I came to the conclusion that it was about time for me to buy an HDTV. Being a college student, usually means you have to place yourself on a budget. With that said, I did the best bargain hunting I could as far as finding a good quality high definition television for a good price. Needless to say, I decided to go with the 26" Vizio model. In this video, you will see me unbox my new television and in the future I will provide my readers with an in depth review of this new TV. Hope you enjoy the video.
