Remote for iPhone: Sync Music from All Your Devices

Digital music is the sound of the future, and everything has been switching to MP3. No one really buys CDs anymore, and it is much simpler to just download full albums or just songs from places on the web like iTunes. But moving them from one place to another is a hassle, and something that still frustrates music lovers who would prefer to have all of their music in one place.

How to Disable Sound From Web Pages as You Browse

MuteTab

Do you browse the Internet at work? Don't deny it, everyone does it, even when it isn't allowed. Site blockers are only so thorough, and most employees will have an easy way around them. Even if you don't do this, or if you work from home, we have all be assaulted by annoying flash videos or audio clips that start auto playing when you visit a site. Especially from advertisements that are trying to get your attention immediately.

These are so irritating, and it isn't always easy to find their source to stop them. Especially when you have a number of tabs open and have to start searching through every single one to find out what is playing. I know I have gotten frustrated trying to do the same, even when I have just been sitting at home and looking at sites for fun.

In a perfect digital world, these would be banned. Or they would at least all be manual starting content that the user could choose to view or ignore. But that is wishful thinking, and they are probably here to stay.

HOW TO Use Youtube as a Web Radio

Web Radio

My computer is in my dining room, steps away from my kitchen (my place is tiny), which is awesome for one reason: music. While doing the dishes, laundry in the adjoining laundry room or cooking, I can have my tunes playing in the background. It makes things go by much faster, not to mention makes them way more enjoyable in general.

Sometimes I will use my own music that I own for this purpose, and sometimes I will use a site like 8Tracks or Last.fm to get the job done. But to be honest, none of those options generally does it for me. I prefer to have my choice of music, that I can find depending on my mood, and entirely control. Who doesn't prefer both choice and limitless options at their disposal?

HOW TO Identify Any Song

The Internet has made many things in life much more simple. Connecting with people from the past, finding new friends, shopping, checking review of products and services, and even enjoying entertainment. Most of us spend more time on the web than doing perhaps anything else, especially now that mobile technology has improved and we are able to do it from there, as well.

One of my personal favorite uses for the web is discovering the names of music I hear while out and about. It used to be impossible to do this, and I still remember agonizing over the name of something I heard for years before finding out what it was. Especially when it came to songs from my childhood, which I had heard on the radio somewhere but never knew anything about.

There are many ways to do this now. Even if you know nothing at all about what you heard. The first and most obvious way is through a Google search, using a couple of lyrics you might have picked up or remembered. Or, if you recognized the artist or knew the commercial, TV show or movie that might have been using it.

But if that isn't possible, there are still a few ways to do it.
