Demand for Ethical Hackers is Growing in the U.S.

While hackers are often associated with malicious acts, such as denial-of-service attacks and posting private information on the web, there are some “white hat” hackers which help governments and companies locate potential security vulnerabilities in their systems and respond to any security breaches that could happen.

As the United States government is facing a growing threat from cybercriminals, it also needs people that know how to secure their systems. However, the government has a lot less security experts than it needs. In 2010, it needed 20,000 security experts, but only had around 1,000 of them. Due to this growing demand, the American government is working hard to put forward programs that will create a new generation of ethical hackers. But who are these white hat hackers?

We're long past the era of total uniformity when it comes to accessing this information wealth, but there is still much room for personalization and improvement. Our browsers give us a basic view, defaulting to the most common usage case, but there's no reason to strictly adhere to what is most common.

Super Mario Portal Edition (With Video) 

Super Mario Portal Edition is a game produced by StabYourself.net. The point of the game is playing Super Mario Bros classic with a portal gun. With the concept being cool the game had successfully pulled off the combination with extreme measures. The controls being a bit awkward at first are very easy to get used to after a while. If you are a PC gamer, then the controls are like the standard First Person Shooter gameplay. The WASD keys control movement, Left Shift is Fireball and running, and the mouse moves and fires the portal gun. Although the controls may take some time to get used to, the game is fun and entertaining and will provide with hours of entertainment....

Email Use and Security [Infographic]

Almost every day we use our email addresses. We use them to communicate with others, to send and receive files and to sign-up/login on other sites and services, like social networks. Because they are linked to so many different accounts. and it's normally needed to login, some would even say an email address is an access gateway to the internet.

Chrome Apps: Episode 1 (YTVD) 

 

 

While browsing through the Chrome Web Store I found the app “YouTube Video Deck”. It looked pretty interesting so I decided to take a closer look at it. I downloaded the app and started to mess with it. Through the screenshot that was provided at the app store, it was a column based design similar to tweet deck. I didn’t know if the app was for the content feed or just the videos. I will say this much, I was thoroughly impressed with the YouTube Video Deck.
