Junior High App Developer

I was browsing through yahoo news when I saw this pop up. Apparently a junior high student has been developing apps for the Iphone and the Ipad. As of now, he has started a club for his school that is dedicated to working with applications for mobile devices. Now this is really amazing that a 6th grader is working on such advance software that he has already developed two apps and is working with a third-party company.

How To Change, Add, Replace RAM

Ever had one of those moments where you wish where your computer could run more processes? A lot of people have similar problems and are recomended to change/replace their RAM (Random-Access Memory). Changing your RAM is quite easy. But beleive it or not, there are not a lot of people who know how to add or change RAM. So before you watch this video, be sure that you have the side pannel off of your computer.

Unboxing Power Mac G5

The Specs

HDD: 250GB SATA
RAM: 4GB DDR
CPU: 2.0GHz (Dual Core)
DVD-RW Super Drive
GeForce FX 5200 (Will upgrade if possible)
OS: OSX Tiger 10.4.8

What is the power mac G5? Well it was a top of the line computer back in its day. Using a 64-bit power processor (which has been discontinued and switched with a Intel processor) there was no limitations on what you could do! But seeing as this in a six year old computer, there are now limitations for what you can do. Would I recommend this computer to you? Yes and no. I will be doing a weekly usage to see if it is something you would get your money’s worth. So I will be able to answer that question shortly.

So far, I was able to install adobe creative suite and get everything to work. I wasn't too sure if CS5 would work, so I installed CS3. Everything runs amazingly smooth; however safari keeps closing on YouTube’s main page. But if I go to a channel, everything works out. All in all, I do recommend this computer, however it is considerably cheap (being an old computer) but you can find these computers on eBay for a couple hundred dollars. Some come with Leopard, some do not.

Siri for the iPhone 4S Demo & Review

This is a video demonstration of the Siri app that comes stock on the iPhone 4S. Siri is a personal assistant that's geared towards helping the users experience with your iPhone a more productive one. In this video, I demonstrate a few of the key features that are currently available for Siri. The "Reminders" app, which was recently introduced with the release of iOS5, has seamless integration with Siri. The ability to use Reminders with Siri creates a simpler means of scheduling and reminding the user to perform certain tasks throughout the day.

Siri also provides the ability to send a text message (via voice) to a person, which would come in handy if texting while driving. The intellect of Siri allows it to realize your location and serve up answers to your questions such as "What gift should I get my mother for her birthday?" (As I ask in the video). The Siri application will find your current location and bring up a list of gift shops. But what would artificial intelligence be without a hint of sarcasm? ..I've asked Siri a series of quI hope you enjoy this video, thanks for watching.
